Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) 

• UFC 312: In Sydney, Dricus du Plessis successfully defended his middleweight title against Sean Strickland in a rematch, solidifying his position among the top middleweight champions. Zhang Weili reaffirmed her status as the best pound-for-pound female fighter with a dominant performance against Tatiana Suarez.

• UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev: On March 1, 2025, at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Manel Kape faced Asu Almabayev in the main event. The fight was barely competitive, with Kape dominating all three rounds before an eventual TKO stoppage. In the co-main event, Julian Marquez and Cody Brundage delivered an action-packed bout that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

• UFC and WWE Collaborate on New Boxing League: UFC and WWE are partnering with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to establish a new boxing league. This initiative aims to revitalize the sport by organizing "four large scale super-fights" in 2025 and 2026, along with consistent events throughout the year.

• Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach Jr.: On March 1, 2025, Gervonta "Tank" Davis is set to defend his WBA Lightweight title against WBA Super Featherweight champion Lamont Roach Jr. at Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York. Davis, boasting an undefeated record of 30-0 with 28 knockouts, enters the bout as a heavy favorite. Roach Jr., with a 25-1-1 record, aims to upset the odds in this highly anticipated matchup.

   

• Upcoming Mega-Event in Times Square: A monumental boxing event titled "Fatal Fury: City of Wolves" is scheduled for May 2, 2025, in Times Square, New York City. The main event features Ryan Garcia's comeback against Rolando Romero, while the co-main event sees Devin Haney facing Jose Carlos Ramirez. Additionally, Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO Super Lightweight title against Arnold Barboza Jr.
